– Master Mechanic with Possible Management Responsibility Depending on Qualifications –

We are seeking a technician to play a leadership role at BikeSport. If applicant is qualified the position will include management responsibility and compensation. The dual-role position requires someone who is as comfortable managing the shop as they are truing a wheel or diagnosing a Di2 shifting issue.

If you have a deep passion for bike culture and an obsession with mechanical precision we want to hear from you. If you have leadership skills this position will also include management responsibility.

The Role:

1. Service Department Excellence (Master Mechanic)
    Perform high-level diagnostics, repairs, and custom builds on everything from vintage steel to modern
   carbon e-bikes and hydraulic systems.
    Maintain a clean, organized, and hyper-efficient workshop.
    Quality control: Ensure every bike leaving the stand meets the highest safety and performance standards.
    Stay up to date on new industry technologies and proprietary systems.
2. Operations & Leadership (Shop Manager)
    Team Development: Train mechanics and sales associates, fostering a culture of top-tier customer
   service.
    Inventory Management: Oversee parts ordering and stock levels to ensure the shop is always equipped
   but never cluttered.
    Customer Experience: Ensure that all customers have a positive experience.
    Business Growth: Monitor shop performance, manage service scheduling to improve turnaround times
   and profitability.
   What You Bring to the Table
    Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional wrenching experience, with 2+ years in a management
   or lead role.
    Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of drivetrain systems, suspension service, wheel building, and
   electronic shifting.
    Communication: The ability to explain complex technical issues to customers clearly, honestly, and
   approachably.
    Organization: A systematic approach to workflow management and a “measure twice, cut once”
   mindset.
